This is part of a national project I took part in during my study in State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University last year. We were creating a virtual keyboard based on depth camera. So I was responsible for creating a hand simulator.

What I did and learned:
In this project, I used OGRE graphics engine and Libhand model to build the simulator. It needs to read processed data that captured by the depth camera and accordingly make movements. Left are some examples that I got from many tests:
This project took me nearly a semester and during this time, I learned some valuable things about computer graphics and OGRE engine programming.
This is an amazing journey.
